Clove LeeAllen (they / any)
𧧠So, who am I?
I'm Clove, an English speaking Chinese Canadian. I have a preference for using they/them pronouns as a nonbinary individual, though honestly, just about anything goes with me.Generally speaking, I'm a creative person who tends to take a hands on and independent approach to my craft. In my free time I can usually be found fully immersed in the virtual world, drawing, working on 3D assets and character models, gaming, or watching movies, all while socializing with friends. Within the communities I'm apart of, I strive to be someone others can reach out to, helping those I can where I can and learning from each individualized experience.I push to be patient, open-minded, positive, organized, and creative with good listening skills. I'm a harsh self-critique who's prone to procrastination, I have difficulty with questions and speaking under pressure, and I often struggle as an individual with autism and AHDH, however, I try to use these weaknesses as a means to learn from and improve what I'm able to accomplish.𧧠What's with the sprouts?
You may often see me depict myself with a purple sprout on my head. This is something quite symbolic to me as I believe it represents a large part of who I am an individual. It connects to my name, both previous and current. Growing up, I was given a name that, in Greek, meant "green sprout" or "blooming" which was quite fitting as a kid utterly fascinated by nature. Over the years, that green sprout slowly grew into a tree, specifically the syzygium aromaticum or clove tree. If you couldn't tell from that sentence, I appreciate the association of sprouts symbolizing growth and potential. Purple on the other hand, which is my favourite colour, is often associated with creativity and ambition. Combined, the purple sprout reflects me as a person; someone with potential, forever growing, and creatively ambitious.
